I visited this café with my mother this afternoon but I find it hard to believe that it was the same restaurant ave a negative review online but for the first time in my life I feel compelled to.
at the same time as a couple and there was one other patron already there.
As we entered the restaurant e for preparing (or reheating the already prepared quiches and salmon) was in the process of eating a baguette and had butter on her face.
We were then seated by a young server and we placed our order for a (reheated) quiche and a piece of salmon as were pressed for time (we were due to watch a show at the dominion at 2).
When after 20 minutes my mother asked for an estimate to when we might have our quiche and salmon the woman proceeded to talk down to us, she responded that it was "not a prêt-à-man ger", that "we" always want things after only 5 minutes, that it was better that we leave.

The resort of Val Cenis is the hub of the Maurienne Valley and if you’re looking for a picture postcard holiday, you’ve found it.
In winter there’s a definite total-immersion feel, as the road at the upper end of the valley over the 2670m Col de l’Iseran to Val d’Isere becomes impassable beyond Bonneval-sur-Arc – and the ancient route into Italy via the Col du Mont Cenis takes its place among the groomed pistes.
In December 2016 when most French resorts were suffering from a draught of natural cover, Val Cenis was half-buried and offering superb skiing along with Val d’Isere and it’s near neighbours of Bardonecchia and Sestriere across the Italian frontier.

I have just searched my maternal grandfather’s name (Henry Fotheringham Ferguson) and discovered the Dundee Evening Telegraph’s report of my aunt’s wedding in August 1945.
A beautiful Elizabethan gown of white moire silk taffeta was worn by the bride, whose father gave her away.
Her pastel tinted hair wreath toned with the sweet peas in her Victorian posy.
Aunty Joan (Joanna Derrill) performed in both the Dundee and London productions.
The Ambassadors later became the first home of the Mousetrap until it moved in the 1970s around the corner to St Martin’s Theatre.

Love is very important, family is very important, deep emotion both happy and sad is a key ingredient of our dishes.
We are a family business with good and bad times.
I like Chez Mamie because it is something once commonplace in Fitzrovia but now a rarity: a family business where three generations live ‘over the shop’ the food is simple, creative and very good writes Stephen Heath.
Our neighbour went every day when his family was away and we notice that there are several regulars who do just the same.

Hidden on a quiet street parallel to Tottenham Court Road is the red-roofed Sardo Restaurant, or Sardinian Restaurant.
Few places in London offer Sardinian cuisine, which seems at first glance similar to Italian.
The beautiful Store Street has a lot to offer, from artisan coffee to Wiccan books and a bike shop.
Taking pride of place is Ristorante Olivelli, hailed for its authentic Sicilian and Italian cuisine.
If you fancy quality cuisine at an affordable price, this is the place to be.

MAMIE’S is a two pillar concept: The Crêperie (restaurant) and the Cidrotheque (cider bar).
MAMIE’S was born from my passion to recreate an authentic French Crêperie which serves Breton cider.
MAMIE’S is a traditional Crêperie, the same as what you’ll find in every French city… With a little London twist!
Our specialities are proper French crêpes, galettes and cider, but we do play around with these to come up with a modern and quirky take on those long-established dishes.
MAMIE’S bona fide galettes will prove to be an exciting new addition to the wide range of fantastic French food available to feast on in London.
